It appears one fan may need help blowing out the candles after getting his birthday wish.
The grind never stops in pro wrestling, especially for Matt Cardona.
Despite suffering a torn pectoral muscle this spring, the unstoppable “Indy God” remains as busy as ever. As the General Manager at Game Changer Wrestling, he’s not only managing the action but also traveling the globe, connecting with fans, and pushing merchandise. His latest adventure brought him to the Land Down Under, where he did more than slap hands with fans.
While appearing for Australia’s World Series Wrestling, The Deathmatch King continued to prove that nobody on the indies does merch like him. At the request of a birthday-celebrating fan named Michael, Cardona provided a memorable gift — for a fee — that left a lasting impression.
This fan actually paid me to chop him! I love money! Happy birthday bro!!! pic.twitter.com/0znkBZe69s

“Michael’s birthday. He wants me to chop him. I charge him, of course. I tore my pec, so I’m gonna have to do it lefty.”
After agreeing to be chopped by Cardona’s non-dominant hand, Michael, with the prodding of Cardona and other onlookers, reluctantly removes his shirt and glasses before bracing himself for the impending impact from the former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. Michael then steels himself and mutters, “F**k it,” preparing for what’s to come.
Next, Cardona delivers a sharp strike across Michael’s chest. Initially stoic, the fan’s expression quickly changes as the pain sets in; his eyes widen, and he moves out of view of the camera. Smirking, Cardona proclaimed, “Happy birthday, motherf**ker!”
As the video shows, when it comes to pleasing his fans, Cardona arguably gives his supporters the most bang for their buck.
