Timeless Toni Storm has a big AEW Women’s World title defense coming up later tonight (June 30) at Forbidden Door, but she took time out of her busy schedule to accompany Mariah May to the ring for her Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match against Saraya on the Zero Hour pre-show.

Saraya wasn’t alone, as the former AEW Women’s champ had her unstable ally Harley Cameron with her. Storm kept Cameron from getting involved in the early going, and played some mind games with her former Outcast teammate while Saraya was in control mid-match.

May was setting up for her finisher when Harley jumped up on the apron. The champ took her out, but that distracted Mariah and allowed Saraya to hit a Knight Cap. The Timeless One’s protege got her hand on the bottom rope, however. She ended up on top of a quick pinning maneuver moments later, too.
That left Saraya stewing in the ring while the winner celebrated with her mentor on the ramp. But Toni’s challenger, and Mariah’s Stardom partner, Mina Shirakawa showed up and May once again found herself in the middle.

How will Mariah factor into the Women’s title match tonight? Will she be able to focus on her upcoming second round match with Hikaru Shida in the aftermath?
