There is now just one spot remaining in both matches.
Money in the Bank qualifying matches were once again a major focus of WWE television this week, with Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York showcasing three triple threats to add three wrestlers to the women’s and men’s ladder matches.
First, Nia Jax hit the scene to cause a distraction, and then Indi Hartwell did the same, ultimately leaving Jade Cargill out cold and Tiffany Stratton taking advantage to hit the Prettiest Moonsault before pinning Candice LeRae to win it to advance.
Later, LA Knight managed to take care of business against Logan Paul and Santos Escobar thanks to New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson coming in with a clutch assist to keep Tyrese Haliburton from giving Paul his brass knuckles. Knight even pinned Paul to advance.
Finally, Cargill showed up to get payback on Hartwell for interfering in her match earlier, giving Naomi all the opening she needed to score the pinfall to defeat both her and Blair Davenport.
The women’s match now features Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, and Naomi. There is just one spot remaining.
The men’s match now features Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, Chad Gable, and LA Knight. There is just one spot remaining.
